Subject: Volunteering with PACJA in Kenya

I am an undergraduate student at Grinnell College who recently received the Thomas J. Watson Global Fellowship. This fellowship gives me the opportunity to take part in a year of independent exploration and travel outside of the United States from July 2025 to July 2026.
My project aims to explore how different communities around the world engage in advancing both community well-being and the advancement of planetary health. I am very interested in your goal of advancing a fair, equitable, ecologically-just and locally-led climate action, which aligns very closely with my project goals.
I will be traveling to Kenya in July 2025, and I am interested in engaging with your organization by participating in and observing the work that you do. I would love to connect to learn more about the work that your organization does and would be grateful to collaborate with you during my coming fellowship year.
